My favorite day

I just can't love Sunday enough! It's my only day off with C - and we take advantage of it;

1. Sleep in. We both turn our phones off and wake up when we want to. I'm a light sleeper, so usually when he gets up, I'm up too.

2. Get ready for the day and go to breakfast. For some reason we have had TERRIBLE service the last 2 weeks. Anyways, my favorite place to eat is Panera Bread, which I usually get at least once a week because he spoils me.

3. When we are back from breakfast we usually do our own thing for a while. We check to see what movie is playing at the $2 theater. He usually gets into a video game and I spend my time on Etsy.

4. We usually hit up the $2 theater in the afternoon. We didn't yesterday, but the week before we watch Lakeview Terrace and before that it was House Bunny. Neither one of us wanted to watch the Nicholas Sparks/Richard Gere movie playing. We're not fans of chick flicks. Comedies, drama, and action for me! He likes horror/gore as well, but I only watch them to have a reason to hold his hand.
5. Dinner! We usually eat a taco or two and Taco Bell, right next to the theater. But yesterday we went to Chipotle, his favorite place. Came back home to eat, threw on some TV shows online, had our fab ice cream night, and I fell asleep while he worked on fixing the computer screen.

Yep, that's it! I've been taking new photos for the shop, and it seems to be going pretty well.
And this hyper-linking everything is new for me. I'm not sure I like it, but what do you think??

Wellp, we've done it!
A new Etsy shop - this one for everything other than Jewelry. We're toying with a vintage and supplies shop as well - we like to keep busy busy!

What else?
This weekend was very productive! I have some super fun things to show you, but right now they are drying and I don't want to chance ruining them! Woot woot!
Also, C made one of the cards in the new shop ;) His first card ever!! Oh yes, we're very proud. Especially me, since I come from an amazing paper store. He always made fun of it [all in a loving way, of course!] and now he's doing it himself! HA!

Want a hint on what's in store for this week for the new shop?

Well my friends, that is all for now!

Politics and Handmade

Well, Obama is campaigning in Kansas City today. I'm debating whether or not I'll be driving down to attend. I'm leaning more towards not, because I don't really have any gas money.

Anyways, just some political finds on Etsy today;

Earrings - $5.50

Cookies! 6 for $14;

Presidential Coin Purse, $10.50;

Hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend!

So I finally decided to get David Allen's Getting Things Done Fast, the Audio version of his book Getting Things Done. I listened to the first two CDs on my way to and from school today, and I must admit that I love the idea of it. Now, I've already toyed with the idea of the GTD concept, but it's good to be able to focus on it.

That's my nerdy side peeking through. C thinks I'm a complete geek, and he's totally right! I love every minute of it.

And now onto the more "pretty" stuff....

I'm digging Faux Bois at the moment [who isn't??], so C, take notes!

This ring is $18;

This faux bois embroidered pillow is $40;

And these pillows are also $40;

Look here for more Faux Bois on Etsy!

Love it!

Iron Man

We are both huge fans of the comic book based movies. Last night we watched Iron Man [again]. It is just a really freaking cool movie. I love the graphics, I love Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Starks, and I just love Terrence Howard no matter what.

So here I am, searching etsy for some cool Iron Man stuff.

Ah, a new blog to follow the adventures of LC! {Thats Lex and Caleb, not Lauren Conrad}

A proper introduction?

We're two college freshmen {we got a late start...} who moved to Missouri to start our own little life. Neither one of us has really adjusted, but all in due time.
I've always had a passion for art, and I'm going to school for graphic design. So naturally I've always had art supplies and projects laying everywhere. Caleb put up with it like a good boyfriend, but finally realized that he might as well join. And boy, was that smart! I never realized he was so good. He's into the technical stuff - you know, like using the drill bit and big table saw [that's what it's called, right??] and all that good jazz. I'm into the rest ;) As a chick, I was never taught to use big table tools, and the fact that my grandfather lost the end of two fingers from them definitely kept me away.

Right now we're focusing on a new Etsy venture, LC Fashion! I'm loving it, and hope to have at least 100 items by the end of the month. We have a few more wares that we're perfecting, and will open shops accordingly.

I'm also a photo/flickr fanatic and quite often will post my faves when there's a blog post because I'm so inspired by everything around me.

Anyways, enough rambling.
Here's some of my favorites from our shop today;

All $10 each. More tonight.
